Things I LIke I go back and forth on "boyfriend" jeans....On one hand, the relaxed, saggy fit totally casually gives off the "I just rolled out of bed looking like this" vibe that I'd love to achieve when I'm getting dressed... however, they often just end up looking unflattering and frumpy on women. I keep thinking this style will disappear, but I continue to see stylish women, wearing boyfriend fits and looking fabulous! So, what do you think?
Check out this timeless Parisian girl in oversized rolled jeans and perfect brown leather oxfords. Tres chic.....
Although flats can work (above) heals seem to be the best way to make the boyfriend fit a bit more flattering.
I bookmarked this image because of her beautiful braid, but the outfit looks pretty good, too.

I leave you with two images of J.Crew's Jenna Lyons to mull it over...

Fashion Each year the Met Gala brings amazing fashion (apparently it's referred to as the Oscars of the fashion industry?) and I love some of this years looks so much that I had to share.
My favorite look was Gwyneth Paltrow in this little grey Prada dress. How darling is the side shot? Asymmetrical hems are everywhere right now and I love the playfulness of the swingy skirt mixed with the super sexy low back. Plus, I think she styled it perfectly with simple hair and some great glittery hoop earrings.
The second lady in Prada who blew me away was Ms. Carey Mulligan in this fish-scale halter dress. She tends to look a little cutesy and I love how she spiced it up with this almost futuristic low back dress.
And, one more amazing prada dress... this cobalt blue feather trimmed dress Diane Kruger wore was a total showstopper. She makes it look so effortless! Love the more casual hair and long pendant necklace!
I don't know much about Solange Knowles, but I think she made a great fashion choice with this yellow peplum Rachel Roy gown. I think letting the color be the star with this simple/sleek silhouette is the right way to do a bright color on the red carpet.
Kristen Wiig seems to almost always be wearing a flowy nude gown, so I was excited to see her in my favorite color in this fun orange lace Stella McCartney pleated dress. It's a retro silhoute, but the texture and nude panels give it a modern twist. Unlike the others, this is a dress I could easily see myself wearing to a fun event like a friends wedding (if only!)
Have you checked out the red carpet photos? Any other favorites I missed?
